Johnson Space Center Astronomical Society Meeting – ONLINE

The December meeting of the JSCAS will be held ONLINE, this Friday December 11th at 7:30 pm, on YouTube. (See below.) This month we will have Dr. David Haviland from the JSCAS, who will speak to us about "Cleaning, and Collimating a Reflector Telescope". Dr. Haviland is an experienced astronomer logging countless hours of observation, outreach, and leadership though multiple astronomy organizations. Telescope maintenance and care is a great topic this time of year if you are looking at purchasing one, or if you are thinking about pulling an old scope out of your closet. Please join us for this great topic!
Our agenda also includes: “DIY Astronomy”, and “Member’s Minutes”.
The meeting can be accessed by going to the JSCAS YouTube Channel at the link: https://bit.ly/3gTpqvU

Our meetings are held on the 2nd Friday of each month at 7:30 pm in the lecture hall of The Lunar & Planetary Institute. (3600 Bay Area Blvd. at Middlebrook Dr., aka USRA Bldg.) For more info, s
