Thu May 7 09:57:57 CDT 2015

A few seats have opened for this evening's presentation of "Movie Science: Who Cares if it's Wrong" by Dr. Seth Shostak. If you have not yet registered, you may register online at http://www.lpi.usra.edu/education/lectures/registration/index.cfm. If you are already registered for the presentation, please check-in by 7:25pm in the LPI lobby. After this time, your seat is no longer guaranteed.

If you were not able to register, and would like to attend the presentation, you may still be able to gain admission to the presentation. Once you arrive at LPI, your name will be added to a wait-list. If seats are available at 7:25pm, wait-list guests will be admitted in the order they arrived at LPI.

Important Note About Parking - Limited visitor parking is available at the USRA building for public speaker attendees, so once the visitor parking section is full, attendees are asked to park in the University Baptist Church (UBC) parking lot<http://www.lpi.usra.edu/meetings/UBC_parking_map.pdf>. A shuttle bus will run throughout the event to take attendees to and from their cars. Directions from Bay Area Boulevard (heading east): Turn left on Middlebrook Drive and continue 0.4 miles. The UBC parking lot will be on the right, just past Glenshannon Drive. There are plenty of parking spaces available for event attendees, and signs will be posted at the shuttle pickup and drop off location at the north side of the lot.
