<p class="MsoNormal">The Lunar and Planetary Institute is pleased to introduce the 2014 &#8211; 2015 Cosmic Explorations Speaker Series: &#8220;Science&#8221; on the Silver Screen. This series will explore the accuracy, and inaccuracy, of science portrayed in the movies. The
 series will begin September 18, 2014 with a presentation by astronaut and planetary scientist
<a href="http://www.jsc.nasa.gov/Bios/htmlbios/love.html">Dr. Stanley Love</a> discussing the 2013 movie &#8220;Gravity.&#8221; Please see the attached flyer for more information regarding this first presentation in the series.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Due to the considerable interest in this series, and due to the seating capacity available at LPI, registration for each presentation in the 2014-2015 series will be required. Registration will open two weeks before each event and is limited

<p class="MsoNormal"><b>Important Note About Parking &#8212; </b>Limited visitor parking is available at the USRA building for public speaker attendees, so once the visitor parking section is full, attendees are asked to park in the
<b><a href="http://www.lpi.usra.edu/meetings/UBC_parking_map.pdf" target="_blank"><span style="color:windowtext;text-decoration:none">University Baptist Church (UBC) parking lot</span></a>.</b> A shuttle bus will run throughout the event to take attendees to
 and from their cars. <i>Directions from Bay Area Boulevard:</i>&nbsp; Turn left on Middlebrook Drive and continue 0.4&nbsp;miles. The UBC parking lot will be on the right, just past Glenshannon Drive. There are plenty of parking spaces available for event attendees,
 and signs will be posted at the shuttle pickup and drop off location at the north side of the lot.
