and from their cars. <i>Directions from Bay Area Boulevard:</i> Turn left on Middlebrook Drive and continue 0.4 miles. The UBC parking lot will be on the right, just past Glenshannon Drive. There are plenty of parking spaces available for event attendees,

daring plan that could sharply cut costs and send a group of American astronauts to the Red Planet within ten years. The plan, known as Mars Direct, has attracted international attention and broad controversy. Now, with debate how to proceed with human space
exploration, the Mars Direct plan is more relevant than ever. Can Americans reach the Red Planet in our time? The principal author of Mars Direct, Robert Zubrin, addresses this question. Zubrin is an aerospace engineer and founder of the Mars Society. Following
