The Lunar and Planetary Institute (LPI) invites all inquisitive adults to attend OSIRIS-REx: Sample Return from a Primitive Near-Earth Asteroid, a presentation by Dr. Scott Messenger of NASA's Johnson Space Center. This free public presentation on January 28, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. is the third presentation in LPI's 2015-2016 Cosmic Explorations Speaker Series, "Solar System Exploration Today and Tomorrow."

LPI's Cosmic Explorations presentations begin at 7:30 p.m. and are followed by a light reception. No reservations are necessary. LPI is located in the USRA building at 3600 Bay Area Boulevard in the Clear Lake region of Houston; the entrance is located on Middlebrook Drive. The Lunar and Planetary Institute is part of the Universities Space Research Association (USRA). Important Note About Parking - Limited visitor parking is available at the USRA building for public speaker attendees, so once the visitor parking section is full, attendees are asked to park in the University Baptist Church (UBC) parking lot<http://www.lpi.usra.edu/meetings/UBC_parking_map.pdf>. A shuttle bus will run throughout the event to take attendees to and from their cars. Directions from Bay Area Boulevard:  Turn left on Middlebrook Drive and continue 0.4 miles. The UBC parking lot will be on the right, just past Glenshannon Drive. There are plenty of parking spaces available for event attendees, and signs will be posted at the shuttle pickup and drop off location at the north side of the lot.
